Well the Bible was written by 40 people. Over a period of 1400 years there were farmers, fishermen, men and women, prophets, kings, princes, doctors and tax collectors. They all talk about the same subject, about Jesus, about God and what the plans God has for us for this world.

Let me imagine with you, take 40 doctors, experts, specialists and put them in a hotel for 40 days and ask them to write about cholesterol. Do you think after 40 days they will agree, every one of them on the same subject, on everything that they say? I’m sure they won’t. How about if you take 40 doctors over a period of 1400 years? That’s impossible. I’m sure they will not agree on any subject, even about potatoes. It’s good, it’s bad. It’s good, it’s bad. They never agree until now whether potato is good or bad for us.

Now there were investigators, not religious people, people who don’t believe really in God. They investigated the bible, 66 books. They concluded that they are reliable, the collection of that as the bible it’s reliable. They compared that with ancient history regarding the historical context of what the bible had recorded. They found that they did not vary from that, and not only that but the subject that they spoke about and they wrote and recorded they did not contradict any other in the same collection of 66 books over 1400 years written by 40 people.

It’s very important for us to understand that the bible is the largest selling book ever in all history of this world, the fastest; the largest best seller in this world. The bible really is a love letter of God to those who will believe in Him. It’s a letter of instruction; it gives people ways and things to do so they won’t make mistakes. It’s a book on lessons so that they won’t make the same mistakes also as people in the past had done. It’s a book on hope, it’s a book on life, it’s a book about salvation; salvation of our souls so that we can be reconciled back to God.
